Reaching the Platform Check PH desk

This page explains what the desk can act on, what it cannot answer, and what happens when a correction is sent.

Email: editor@platformcheckph.pages.dev

What the desk does

The Platform Check PH desk is an independent editorial desk. It is not a broker, not an exchange, not a licensed adviser, and it holds no client money. Its subject is one measurement, taken from named public sources and republished with the date and the hour it was read: each row is a company as the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas lists it, with the brand name the list gives for it, if any. The date is the list's own date; the list gives none per company.

The desk checks the sources under every table, with a link, so a reader can check the figure at its publisher. Responsibility sits with the publication's editorial desk: the Platform Check PH desk. No person is named. The desk reads the sources, checks the measurement, and answers corrections.

What is worth writing about

Write to the desk about a figure that looks wrong, a source that has moved or closed, a question about how the measurement is taken, or a correction. The address is editor@platformcheckph.pages.dev. A figure that is wrong is corrected and the correction is dated. The correction is shown on the page where the figure appeared, with the date of the change.

The desk cannot answer personal investment advice, help with a broker's account, or tips. It does not know a reader's own position, balance, or circumstances. It cannot tell a reader what to buy or sell, or whether to open an account with any broker.

What the desk cannot do

The desk cannot answer questions about a broker's account, a deposit, a withdrawal, or a trading platform. It does not have access to any broker's systems or records. It cannot help with a login, a verification, or a payment. It cannot contact a broker on a reader's behalf.

The desk cannot answer questions about taxes, legal matters, or regulatory actions. It cannot interpret the Bangko Sentral's list beyond what the list itself states. It cannot advise on whether a company is safe to invest in or whether a broker is suitable for a reader.

How the desk is funded

The site links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link, and is paid a commission if a reader opens an account there. The reader pays nothing to this site and nothing extra at the broker. This is the only payment the site receives. The desk does not charge readers for access, and it does not sell any product or service.

Nothing on the site is investment advice, a recommendation or an offer. The figures describe what things cost, not what a reader should do. The site has no accounts, no login, no newsletter and no comment form. It sets no cookie of its own, runs no analytics and stores nothing in the reader's browser. The pages are served by a hosting provider which, like any web host, keeps its own technical request logs; the site's publisher does not read a reader's personal data out of them.
